Q’s - CHARITY CUP 2007

The Q’s Charity Cup featuring representative teams from local snooker clubs and leagues and the best pool players in the district will take place in Q’s Snooker Club on Saturday 28^th April. Drumaness will be bidding to retain the cup they won last year, but will face tough opposition from the Cue Club in Newry. This year’s charity is the Paul Hunter Foundation.

Charity Cup 2006

Q’s hosted its first ‘Charity Cup’ on Saturday 1st April which raised £851 for this years chosen charity ‘Ulster Cancer Foundation’.

Ten local teams were invited to participate from Drumaness, Lisburn, Downpatrick and Newcastle.

The event saw Seamus McGivern’s Drumaness team win the cup by defeating our very own Joe Moreland’s Q’s team in the final.

The shield was a closely fought encounter between Downpatrick Snooker league and Castlewellan Pool league, Downpatrick eventually ending up on top.
